Mickey’s Mambo Number 5

Kayli had a dance performance at the beginning of December at the Queen Creek holiday festival. Her class performed to Mickey’s Mambo Number 5 and it was cute as always! My brother in law took a video for me while I took pictures since Pete couldn’t make it. I still need to get a copy of the video from him so Ill post it once I do. Kayli did a great job, she loves to dance and is getting really good at remembering the steps! We are very proud of her!

Flowers from Grandma Mary and Corinne

There was a mini petting zoo area that Kayli LOVED! I was calling it animal torture. There were some poor little baby pigs that were being chased around the pen by the kids who were trying to pick them up. The piglets were squealing and hiding behind the goats. Kayli loved the bunny and the pony.

Caiden was content to sit in the stroller and eat fresh Kettle Corn

Disneyland 2010 Day 2

We spent the entire first day at Disneyland so we started the second day at CA Adventure. The wind was a little gusty though so a lot of the kids rides (swing, jellyfish, rockets, etc…) were closed. Kayli loved the ferris wheel, but was mad that she didn’t get to go on a swinging gondola because Pete was too scared lol.

We were the first ones on the Monsters Inc. ride so the kids got to be part of the scream contest, the winner of the contest got to be the first on the ride and got a special pass for their whole party to go through the exit on that ride all day. Do they do this for every ride??

Toy Story Mania (Kayla, TJ and Kayli)

CUTE girl!

This was a tough line to stand in, he could see Mickey and Pluto and kept trying to sneak under the railing.

Blowing Kisses

Dumbo

Silly Cousins waiting to ride the teacups AGAIN I think they rode it 5 or 6 times over the 2 days

All bundled up (Caiden was passed out). It was COLD!

We had a blast! I think Disneyland is even more fun as a parent watching your kids having so much fun! I hope we can make this an annual tradition with the kid’s cousins because it was fun for them to experience it together.

Great Grandma and Grandpa Bocker

In November we made a trip out to CA to see the Bockers and to spend a few days at Disneyland with most of my family. The kids had so much fun getting into Great Grandma’s things and playing at the park near their house. We had a little Thanksgiving lunch with them, listened to stories and played catch up. It’s always so much fun to spend time with them and we cherish every trip out there. Kayli asks me everyday when she will get to see Great Grandma and Grandpa Bocker again. We love and miss them very much!

Caiden loved playing with Great Grandpa’s cane

Disneyland 2010 Day 1

We took a fun trip to Disneyland in November. We spent 2 days at the parks and had a blast! Caiden got sick right before we left for CA (of course) so he was on an antibiotic that I think was bothering his tummy so he slept A LOT, but what he was awake for he LOVED, especially meeting Mickey Mouse and some of the other characters. I took TONS of pictures, here are some of the highlights, the rest of the pictures are in the album.

We walked into the park and then stopped for potty breaks and Caiden started pouting, guess he didnt know he was at the happiest place on Earth!

Total faker…it’s blurry, but hilarious

Caiden kept calling Cruella “Bam ma” (Grandma)

Kayli and Grandma Stella (TJ and Eli’s grandma)

Caiden was in total shock when he saw Mickey. I couldn’t even get him to look at the camera, he was staring at Mickey the whole time, it was so cute.

I love his expression in this one…total excitement

It was a good thing that we knew the next group and they didnt mind him in their picture because he was not ready to leave Mickey

A little ring around the rosy at Disneyland

Caiden LOVED the teacups

Sleeping through dinner, at least she didnt miss anything important

SNOW!!

Christmas Tree all lit up

Snow covered Castle

Watching the fireworks as we were being rained on. We jetted out of the park, but we were soaked by the time we made it back to the hotel

Halloween 2010

Kayli always has a hard time deciding what she wants to be for Halloween. She usually goes down the list of everything she and her cousins have already been before she decides. At first, she wanted to be Minnie again, I said you were Minnie last year, her response “OK Mom Ill be Mickey this time and brother can be Minnie” hahaha. I finally convinced her she should try a different costume this year and suggested Ariel because her cousin Kayla had been Ariel the year before and I know Kayli liked her costume at the time. She got very excited and so Ariel it was! I wanted Caiden to jive with her so I decided he would be eiher Flounder or Sebastian. Who knew finding a costume for him would be so hard? I finally lucked out and scored a Sebastian costume on ebay for $10 just days before Halloween, woohoo!! They were so cute together, but Pete says this is the last year that Caiden can be an “accessory” to Kayli’s costume, we’ll see! ;)

Halloween was busy, we went to the pumpkin patch twice, went to 2 trunk or treats, Kayli had a Halloween party at school, and we trick or treated around the neighborhood. The kids had a blast and the candy lasted well into December!

Pink Hair and Mascara

In October the kids and I went to a carnival at their cousin Kayla’s school. It was HOT and Caiden just wanted to run free with the other thousands of kids, seriously it was a MAD house! We helped the kids use up their tickets fast and then we went to dinner. Kayli and Kayla got their hair sprayed pink right before we left the madness. Kayli thought it was the greatest thing ever, me not so much. That stuff makes such a mess, it was EVERYWHERE. As soon as I saw it all over her car seat from the ride home I knew she HAD to have a bath, yes a pink bath. She still wants to know when she can have pink hair again, not anytime soon if we are lucky.

I much prefer the red, it is certainly less messy!

Caiden LOVES to play in my makeup, he especially loves my mascara. First he eats it, then he uses it to brush his hair and then he uses it on his eyes.

Stuffed Animals have Families too!

Kayli LOVES to empty her toy box full of stuffed animals and line them all up and then pair them up in “families.” Yesterday she was lining them up on top of the dog crate and as she was assembling them into their family groups she would say “Families stick together.” She must have said it every time she added a family member because I must have heard it 50 times. I was cracking up laughing it was so darn cute.

Still no camera…so no cute pics of her families sticking together! Hopefully there is a camera in my 4th of July future!
