Wedding Time!!

My brother, Homey (or Chris as some people call him) is the most recent Eggleston to get married. WOOHOO!! My Mom will tell you that it is/was about time! ;) Here are a few pictures from the wedding and reception a few weeks ago. The wedding was actually in late Sept, and boy was it a HOT day at the temple! The reception was just a few weeks ago and was a BLAST!! The DJ was great, and the kids were dancing the night away, they both really love music and dancing!! Pete and I shared a few dances too, it was a fun night! Of course no Eggleston reception is complete without a dance to “Save a Horse Ride a Cowboy”, but we were all too busy dancing for any pictures this time!

Loves for Uncle Homey right after they came out of the temple.

Hanging out with Dad (No Pete does not know how to make normal faces for pictures!)

Family picture! Excuse my dirty camera lens…one word kids!

LOVE this picture. Caiden tackled Kayli and this was the end result.

Uncle Homey, his new wife Kayla and her daughter Taryn.

The Reception…

CONGRATS and welcome to the family Kayla and Taryn!!

Bath Time is the BEST!!

Bath time is one of my favorite times of the day. OK so it doesn’t always happen every day, but when it does I LOVE it!! Not just because it means that bedtime is VERY near, and that I will have a quiet house to myself, but because the kids both LOVE it too! They get along so well in the bath and really have a great time splashing, singing, screaming, screeching, giggling, and playing together. Of course the other plus is that they come out nice and clean!! Here are a few bath time pictures!! Think these two are related?? ;)

Tricky tricky…

And so it begins…AGAIN!!

Just a little update on our planned move…

We didnt get the home afterall. Everything was good to go until the appraisal came back and was $16,500 LESS than our offer. Which meant that the bank now had to agree to accept the appraised value. A week later we heard back from the bank, and they were not going to take the lower price. Talk about devastation, we were only one week away from our intended close of escrow date. Our fabulous realtor and mortgage guy (what do you call him? lol) fought hard to get the bank to change there minds and it worked. Two days later the bank agreed to take the new price. Talk about a roller coaster couple of days. But later that same day we learned that the seller, who hasnt paid their mortgage in who knows how long, decided that they no longer wanted to sell the house to us. Apparently they didnt agree with the appraised price and told their realtor they would just let the home foreclose and strip it on their way out. Since the home is still “theirs” there is nothing the bank can do. Frustrating that we wasted so much time and money on that home!

So the search for a new home has begun. We have put in a few offers, one we know we didnt get, and then another Im really hoping we get, but not getting my hopes up at the same time! Wish us luck!!
