Do not let kids eat more than 1 Quaker Fiber and Omega Granola Bar in a day, and maybe not even 1…you try it and let me know. I got some for free a few weeks ago and never tried them. Today I was eating one and Kayli came and snagged it after my first bite. Then later she asked for another and I obliged. Well that on top of her daily teaspoon of Miralax proved to be too much today. Poor thing she was bugging me ALL DAY to go to the park, but I was cleaning and it was HOT. So I finally took her just before 6pm and 10 minutes later she comes to me all upset because she had an accident in her undies. She had already gone to the bathroom today so I was surprised because she NEVER goes twice in 1 day! Well then I remembered the 1 and 3/4 Fiber Bars she had today…Never again! Poor girl went to bed with a stomach ache and didn’t even touch her dinner!

Next time I try to help you with the dishes and you dont want my help please just tell me “No, thank you”. Pushing is not nice and even though my Mom wasn’t around to defend me or see you push me, I have the markS to PROVE it!

A Scarred Caiden

OK so maybe he didn’t push him, but I left him at my parent’s house with Sunny for 3 hours and this is what he looked like when I returned.

It’s hard to believe that it has been 9 months since Caiden was born, where does the time go? He is the happiest baby I know and it is so much fun to watch him explore and figure things out! He loves to sit and swing the bedroom doors open and closed, and when he accidently closes them all the way he will sit behind the door and knock until someone opens the door for him! He has become a total Mama’s boy in the last couple of months and if he can’t see me and most of the time if he’s not touching me he is not happy! 

We haven’t made it to the doctor yet so I dont have any recent stats, but here are some of the things he is doing!

Crawls SUPER fast (both on his knees and on his feet), Pulls himself up, Cruises, Stands all by himself for a few seconds at a time, Tries to take a step, Walks really good with his walker or holding onto our hands, Waves Hi and Bye, Signs milk (I think, whenever I ask him if he wants milk he waves opening and closing his hand so Im pretty sure he is trying to sign milk), Talks (if you can call it that) up a storm…I swear he says “Hi” and “Mom”, Plays Peek-a-Boo…he will hid his face under a blanket and he has also started hiding objects under blankets and then finding them again, he gets such a kick outta that! So much FUN at this age! I love you Baby Boy!

Here are a few pics I snapped of him yesterday. He LOVES to be outside, but he also likes to put rocks in his mouth so he doesnt get to be out there much unless I can be right there watching him constantly!

Kayli wanted in on the photo shoot, and this was the result! Kayli was NOT happy because she couldn’t get the door shut! LOL

I am so lucky to have both of these beautiful kids! I cannot imagine life without them!

My Mom has some of her neighbor’s horses on her new land eating down all of the overgrowth, and Kayli has been bugging me to go over there and see them, so today we went! She is soo relaxed around them its crazy, kinda scary actually for me, she really has no fear of them! She just LOVES to be around them. We didnt stay outside long because there was some crazy wind today, but even when we were inside she was staring out the window at them most of the time! She’s just my horse girl!

This was right when she went out, she got pretty close to them and then just stood nice and still until the horse approached her…such a natural!

She LOVES to feed them carrots! My Dad was eating a bag of carrots once and Kayli kept taking it away from him and zipping it closed because “carrots are for the horsies”.  These 2 are VERY pregnant!

Look what Caiden can do! He is one proud lil guy too, he gets soo excited and then gets ahead of himself and takes a step only to fall to the floor. But at least he even likes the falling part and usually just laughs! Such a happy boy!

Alright so Im a little behind…
Saturday morning we woke up to cool, overcast weather and even some RAIN! Kayli couldn’t wait to get outside!

We went over to Ali’s house and the kids all dyed eggs together. It was a little messy, but the kids had a TON of FUN! TJ doesnt like to get dirty so he was a little skeptical, but Kayli and Eli went right for it, and had colored hands for days! They both loved moving the eggs from one color to the next like it was a science project! Caiden wanted to help sooo bad…next year! 

Sunday morning Kayli got an Easter basket with goodies and Caiden got a walker…no more ghetto walker! I was in the shower getting ready for 9am church so I didnt get any pics of the baskets! Kayli got some movies, candy and gum. Caiden LOVES his new walker!

After church we took naps and then headed over to my sister’s house for Easter dinner! After dinner the kids did an Easter egg hunt, but I had a migraine and had been hiding out for an hour or so and since Im the only one that knows how to take pics, (I guess??) we don’t have any! Ill have to get some from my sis! 

Caiden figured this out all on his own, he is such an entertaining kid. This is from a few days ago, but he’s used his Ghetto walker everyday since! LOL He is going to LOVE what the Easter Bunny is bringing him tomorrow!

Kayli was singing up a storm when we were making Pete’s cake, but then of course she got shy once I got the camera out. It was a good thing I recorded this, since she was super shy when Pete got home from work and wouldn’t sing at all with me. Kids are too funny! Oh and don’t worry I didnt let her use the knife on the cake anymore!

Happy Birthday Pete! We love you very much and are so thankful for everything that you do! Pete is an amazing husband, he is very loving and lets face it he puts up with me even on my cranky days! He is a wonderful father and loves Kayli and Caiden soo much! He is such a hard worker and always works as hard and as long as he has to in order to provide for our family. I sometimes (ok more often then sometimes) give him a hard time when he works late and doesn’t make it home before the kids are in bed, but I know that he is only doing it because he loves us! Thanks for being so wonderful Pete! I love you very much!
